Itinerary
Akwaaba to Ghana! Your adventure starts today as you step foot in Accra. There will be a private shuttle service available to take you to your luxurious accommodation in no time. Once settled, you will get to know the tour team and have the rest of the day to unpack & relax. In the evening, we will enjoy a delicious dinner at a local restaurant as we go over the tour briefing. Your Ghana escapade is about to start

Our adventure starts from Accra, Ghana’s bustling capital. We will start the day by touring the city with new smells, tastes & colours. Our tour will take us to W.B Dubois Centre, the Black Star Square & Independence Arch, Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Museum & the National Museum. We will end the day by enjoying a meal at a local restaurant full of mouthwatering foods!

Bursting with history & pride, Cape Coast is one of Ghana’s most significant travel destinations. Discover the city as we revisit some of the country’s most painful past. We will dig deep into slavery by stepping on the path of thousands of the enslaved captives. Our journey begins at Assin Manso slave river (Donkor Nsuo) where captured slaves had the chance to bathe before a 3 week naked trek through the dense forest. At Assin Manso, a revered site of memory and healing, we will be welcomed home to Ghana through the traditional Akan naming rite. Each participant is honored with an ancestral Ghanaian name, symbolizing reconnection to lineage, restoration of identity, and unity with the African homeland. The ceremony at the Slave River stands as a profound act of remembrance, reconciliation, and belonging. We continue to Cape Coast Castle for the history of the infamous slave trade. We will end our day by going to Kakum National Park to unwind and enjoy Ghana’s lush landscapes before coming to Accra.

This is a modern museum that combines African arts, history, cultural heritage that focuses on drumming, dancing, traditional rites and foods. The experience is to guide visitors towards healing & restoration of justice from the traumas and legacies of enslavement and colonialism in Africa. From the museum we head to the beautiful Bridgeview Beach Resort which is situated in one of the most beautiful locations in Ghana on the banks of the famous Volta River. The spectacular views and the unique architectural design blends with typical traditional Ghanaian styles & modernity of the highest international standards makes it an ideal place to enjoy nature. We will enjoy a scheduled cruise on the beautiful volta lake with live music & enjoy delicious meals at the hotel. We then walk to the iconic Adomi bridge for a photoshoot. This beautiful bridge is a trussed arch spanning the Volta River at the Akosombo Dam at Atimpoku.
We head to the country’s most beautiful plants, luscious flowers & unique ecosystems. Aburi Botanical Gardens are found just outside Accra. Bustling with life, it’s a great place to take pictures, relax and grab a bite at one of the many nearby restaurants. We continue to the beautiful Boti falls. The falls is made of a ‘male and female’ which come from two emerging rivers . The larger one is mythically believed to be the male and the smaller one, the female . According to the indigenes, when the two merge, a rainbow is formed . It is usually said that these rivers are mating when this happens.A double side-by-side falls during the high flow and at the bottom of 250 concrete steps. During full flow you are surrounded in a canyon of falling water. We end our day by going to Peduase Valley

Guided by master artisans, we will witness & experience hands-on centuries-old craft of transforming recycled glass & other precious items into exquisite beads, a tradition deeply rooted in Krobo culture, where heritage, artistry, and storytelling comes alive. From crushing and molding to firing in clay kilns, every step is an intimate encounter with authenticity. We will not just observe however, we will create our own bespoke beads, carrying home a piece of Ghana’s soul.Elevate the experience with a partying & musical concert event in the evening

We conclude our tour with an inspiring visit to the Aburi Craft Village, where master artisans showcase exquisite hand-carved pieces, beads, and traditional artworks—perfect keepsakes of Ghana’s rich heritage. Unwind in serene luxury at the luxury Peduase Lodge, nestled in the lush Akwapim Hills, offering fine dining, panoramic views, and a tranquil ambiance to reflect on your unforgettable adventure in Ghana.
A relaxing morning enjoying the facilities of our accommodation, maybe go for a swim, relax on the beach or just enjoy our final morning at this beautiful location.
